Tributary is an optionally participatory movement and sound meditation on the daily water we experience. The audience has the opportunity to become part of the soundtrack and motion considering the physical state changes of water. The audio, created by Will Owen, will be both live instrumentations as well as 2 years of field recordings of the seasonal cycles of the Delaware River small headwaters in New Jersey / Pennsylvania and flowing into the Atlantic Ocean. Movement scores, developed in collaboration by Burley, Harrell, Owen, Riegel, and Springer, follow and activate the soundscape.
